Terms and Conditions

Participation in the competition organized by DORMA-Glas GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer") is free of charge and is solely subject to these terms and conditions.

Competition Duration

The competition will run from November 7, 2024, to January 31, 2025. During this period, users will have the opportunity to participate in the competition online.

Participation

To participate, users must upload their DORMA-Glas moment as a photo or video on their Instagram or LinkedIn account, use the hashtag #deinDormaGlasMoment, and tag the official DORMA-Glas account. For an additional chance to win, participants must follow the official DORMA-Glas account on LinkedIn and/or Instagram. Participation is only possible in compliance with the terms of use of LinkedIn and META.

It is allowed to upload multiple photos or videos to increase chances of winning.

Participation in the competition is free.

Eligibility

Eligible participants are individuals who are at least 18 years old. Participation is limited to customers of the Organizer and is contingent on the purchase of goods or services.

Employees of DORMA-Glas GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation.

If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.

The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition at their discretion if there are valid reasons, such as: (a) Manipulation related to access to or conduct of the competition,
(b) Violations of these terms and conditions,
(c) Unfair conduct, or
(d) False or misleading information related to participation in the competition.

Prizes, Notification, and Delivery of Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded:

• 3x a new iPad 10th generation, 128 GB, Wifi in your preferred color (value approx. 429 €)
• 6x AirPods 4th generation with noise cancellation (value approx. 199 €)

The winners will be determined by a lottery after the competition deadline (January 31, 2025). The winners will be notified promptly by a separate email about their prize.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner. An exchange or cash payout of the prize is not possible.

The Organizer will cover any shipping costs associated with delivering the prizes. Additional costs related to claiming the prize will be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxes related to the prize.

If the winner does not respond within three weeks after two reminders, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Ending the Competition

The Organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without providing reasons. This applies particularly if there are any issues that disturb or prevent the planned course of the competition.

Data Protection

The participant's personal data, device data, and IP address will be collected, processed (stored), and used solely for the administration of the competition.

To participate in the competition, personal data must be provided. The participant guarantees that the information they provide, especially their first and last name and email address, is truthful and correct.

The Organizer assures that the participant's personal data will not be shared with third parties or made available for use without the participant's consent. By participating, you consent to the use of your data for marketing communications, which can be withdrawn at any time by contacting leah.weimann@dorma-glas.com.

In the event of a win, the winner's full name and location will be published. This includes the announcement of the winner on the Organizer’s website and social media platforms.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that comes closest to the economic intent of the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies if there is a gap in these terms and conditions.
